Kinsley is 4 months and has begun eating rice cereal. Compared to Hayden, she LOVES it!

Wow! What a weekend!
We are still recovering from such an exciting and jam-packed weekend. Friday, we hosted a Happy Hour for Hayden's classmates and their families from St. Paul's Plus. The kids ran wild in the moonbounce while the parents ate hors d' oeuvres and drank "adult" beverages. On Saturday, we visited our friends, the Cassell's, at their home in Baldwin, for a delicious steak dinner with our other friends, the Semesky's. Hayden played with his friends, Addison and Andrew, while Kinsley enjoyed being held by everyone. To wrap up the excitement, we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at the Balchunas' home on Sunday morning and enjoyed finding Easter Eggs hidden in the yard and a yummy brunch with a Bloody Mary bar! It was quite the weekend and it made for a very early bedtime last night to make up for all of the lack of sleep. Enjoy a few pictures of the weekend. (Unfortunately, I was so busy with the party on Friday night, I was unable to take any pictures of the festivities that evening.)

St. Paul's - St. Patty's
Yesterday, St Paul's Preschool hosted its annual St. Patty's Day party and Hayden was not in the "Erin Go Brach" spirit, needless to say. As you can see from the pictures, he wasn't in a good mood because Mommy had to wake him up from his nap in order to make the party. Oh well, at least Kinsley enjoyed being held by Jenyfer, Andrea and Katka and Mommy enjoyed a delicious green cupcake.

Florida
Last week, we spent a glorious 4 days at the Pittler Grandparent's house in West Palm. Hayden had a wonderful time playing in the pool, playing golf, riding in the golf cart, and spending time with "Mee-Maw" and Za-Za. He was a big help to Grandma, throwing everything in the trash can and helping to set the table. Kinsley was just her usual relaxed, easy-going self and enjoyed being held all the time by everyone. It was a short trip, but we packed so much fun into it. Here are a few of the pictures.

"Pittistics"
Yesterday, we faced the daunting task of taking both Hayden and Kinsley to their 2 year and 2 month checkups, respectively. BIG MISTAKE!!! Perhaps we should have taken into consideration that 6 shots, 2 blood tests, and 2 hours later we would have the headache of a lifetime. Note to self: Schedule all future appointments separately - not together at the same time. Anyway, just a quick note to let all of our loyal viewers know how our Pittlets are growing and thriving. Hayden weighed in at 27lbs which put him in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. His head, however, was in the 75th percentile, which means he probably inherited his Daddy's brains. Dr. Lake explained that if you take his height at age 2, double it and add an inch, you will get a pretty accurate prediction of what his height will be as an adult. He will probably be 5' 10"-5' 11" tall. Not exactly NFL material (unless you're Doug Flutie), but many a scholarship laxer fell into that height range...haha. Kinsley (our little chunk) weighed in at a whopping 11lbs, 13oz. and at 23 inches long, that puts her in the 75th percentile for height and weight. Nothing wrong with being a little above average...haha. Considering that she was born at 7lbs. 13oz., suffered through RSV and wasn't gaining for a while, she really has come a long way. We're so blessed to have 2 healthy and beautiful children! We are leaving town tomorrow to visit the Grandparents in Florida, so we will have tons of great pictures to post of fun in the sun when we get back.
